Self-cleaning Metal Edge Filter DFX Series for Amine Filtration
Description
Wherever highly viscous liquids or pastes are used in the production process, the metal edge filter is choice to cleanly separate unwanted particles. Its robust construction with filter elements made of triangular stainless steel wire predestines this automatic filter for use in applications with high particle concentrations and volume flows up to 900 m3/h. The particle discharge can be regulated individually. With available gap widths between 50 and 2,000 μm, the DFX metal edge filter covers a wide range of applications. In addition to the preparation and homogenization of highly viscous liquids and pastes, DFX metal edge filters have also proven their worth in the filtration of process water that is contaminated with coarse particles. Both in the variant with cast housing and in the welded version, the metal edge filter can even withstand high operating pressures.
The conventional filters get clogged frequently when filtering the viscous liquid and removing the soft impurities. The customers have to select larger filters and clean the filter manually and frequently, which means expensive investment, hard work, valuable liquid loss. DFX filter solves these kinds of problems by its advanced self-cleaning. It always keeps the filter element clean, discharges waste liquid with high impurity concentration, reduces the liquid loss.
